Bob Dylan: CHAPTERS
For my senior project at Northeastern University I created a career-spanning Bob Dylan vinyl boxset targeting his multitudes of super-fans and collectors all over the world.  Experimenting with new techniques, I created my own imagery with acetone transfers.  This solvent image-transfer technique creates unusual and compelling images.
The bulk of my labor involved rubbing the acetone transfers, photographing them and then editing them in Photoshop.  On the left is the original acetone image.  On the right is my enhanced version.
VINYLS
Bob Dylan has an epic catalog which I approached in chronological order.  I created six vinyls, each representing a distinct chapter in his life (hence the overall name Bob Dylan: Chapters). Each vinyl contains a curated playlist of music from that period of his life. The front covers display full-color acetone images, while the flip sides contain black and white photographs combined with typography describing the musical content. Below are four examples.
BOOKLET
In addition to the vinyl sleeves, I typeset an interview of Dylan's, widely considered one of his best, to be included in the boxset.  Below are a few of my favorite spreads.
